North Grove One-Room School House
A voluntary community project where students were invited to study an artifact of their choice from the DeKalb County History Center’s exhibit, “History of DeKalb County in 100 Objects,” that opened on June 11, 2022. The process involved deep research on the topic, conducting interviews with local residents, and editing and producing the video. I told the story of the North Grove One Room School. It was previously featured on the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main St. website before the current administration’s review of Smithsonian exhibits and museums took it down.
